This limited release from Ardnamurchan is a vatting of unpeated spirit matured in ex-bourbon casks before a finishing period in Sauternes wine barriques. The influence of the French sweet wine casks brings a rich, aromatic fruitiness to the core Highland malt, adding layers of stone fruit, soft brioche, and warming spice. Bottled at 50% ABV and non-chill filtered, this is a bright, elegant dram with a savoury undertone.

Nose:
Apricot jam, dried stone fruits, brioche, marzipan, and citrus zest.

Palate:
Heather honey, green apple, lemon peel, seeded bread, peppercorn, and toasted almond.

Finish:
Dry and balanced, with fading sweetness and a gentle herbal spice.
