From the peat-rich shores of Islay comes a whisky that dares to blend the familiar fire of smoke with a twist of mythical sweetness. Though distilled in Ardbeg’s signature style, this 14-year-old bottling is matured in a marriage of classic bourbon casks and rare Madeira wine casks - resulting in a dram that journeys from rugged peat to indulgent fruit and spice. With 46% ABV and non-chill filtered, it’s the second chapter in the Anthology series and a testament to what happens when tradition meets bold experimentation.

Nose:
Baked banana bread and syrupy sponge pudding meet treacle and burning cedarwood; a splash of water opens up guava, mango and eucalyptus oil entwined in gentle smoke.

Palate:
Zesty lime and sweet peaches sweep in, followed by rich smoked fruit, baked bread, antiseptic lozenges, creosote and aniseed; soft barley malt and nutmeg peek through the peat.

Finish:
Lingering menthol, clove, wood smoke and camphor guided by the Madeira cask’s influence; a tail of rich peat and sweet spice.
