The Arran Local Barley series celebrates a genuine connection between distillery and land. For this release, malted barley grown on Bellevue Farm on the Isle of Arran was used to create a whisky that captures the island’s bright, cereal driven house style. Matured for a decade in a mix of first fill bourbon barrels and second fill sherry hogsheads, it delivers a lively balance of fresh malt sweetness, citrus brightness and gentle spice.

Nose:
Fresh herbs, citrus peel, vanilla sweetness and a hint of anise.

Palate: 
Spicy ginger and buttery biscuits with vanilla, citrus and a rounded oily texture.

Finish:
Medium length, gently drying with lingering citrus, ginger and light spice.
