Benriach’s modern revival has been built around showcasing the distillery’s naturally fruit-forward spirit through layered cask maturation. The Sixteen brings together bourbon barrels, sherry casks and virgin oak, allowing sixteen years of ageing to deepen the orchard fruit character while adding honeyed richness, spice and gentle oak complexity. It is mature Speyside whisky without excess weight, balancing elegance and flavour beautifully.

Nose:
Baked apple, honey, hazelnut malt and ginger-spiced apricot with soft oak.

Palate:
Stewed orchard fruits, candied citrus peel, honeyed malt and gentle nutty spice.

Finish:
Long and warming with toasted oak, soft spice and lingering stone fruit sweetness.
