Tormore is one of Speyside’s quiet achievers, often overlooked but capable of producing beautifully elegant spirit. The Golden Cut series puts that spirit front and centre, with this release finished in Amontillado sherry casks to add a layer of dry nuttiness and gentle complexity. It is a refined take on sherry influence, where balance and structure take precedence over outright richness.

Nose:
Toasted almonds, dried apple, honey and light oak spice.

Palate:
Nutty and gently dry with orchard fruit, caramel, soft spice and a touch of citrus peel.

Finish:
Medium length with lingering nuts, oak and a delicate dryness.
