Glen Garioch has an interesting history, having once produced a peated Highland style before returning in 1997 as an unpeated distillery. This North Star bottling captures the spirit at just eight years old, giving it plenty of youthful energy while an Oloroso finish adds another layer of fruit and richness. Only 260 bottles were produced from the refill hogshead, making this a particularly neat little independent bottling.

Nose:
Brown sugar and warm porridge with bursts of blueberry.

Palate:
Cherry and crisp apple with a soft, malty sweetness.

Finish:
Grilled citrus with gentle warmth and lingering fruit.
