After 15 years in oak, this small-batch Speysider spent a final four months in an intensely active sherry octave—a cask a fraction the size of a traditional butt. The result is a spirit of unusual depth and maturity, bottled at natural cask strength without chill filtration or added colour. Duncan Taylor's octave series is all about precision maturation: amplifying the interaction between wood and spirit to create something bold, polished, and deeply expressive in a shorter span.

Nose:
Caramel waffles and banana chips sit atop layers of dried fig, toffee, lemon pastry, and soft floral notes.

Palate:
Full and rich with honeyed spice, plum sauce, creamy toffee, milk chocolate, cinnamon, and a touch of ginger heat.

Finish:
Medium to long with warming spices, zesty orange, and sticky date pudding.
