Tasmania’s cool climate wine industry has provided some remarkable casks for the island’s distillers, and Old Kempton has made excellent use of them with this Pinot cask matured single malt. The influence of Tasmanian Pinot Noir adds elegant red fruit character and gentle tannin to the distillery’s rich, malty spirit, creating a whisky that balances sweetness, spice and subtle oak structure.

Nose:
Red berries, vanilla cream, light toffee and soft oak spice.

Palate:
Cherry, raspberry and caramel with creamy malt and gentle oak.

Finish:
Smooth and medium-long with dark fruit, vanilla and lightly drying tannins.
