This limited single cask expression from The Whisky Cellar’s Pintail range brings a fresh, fruit-forward twist to classic Highland malt. Initially matured in a refill ex-bourbon hogshead, it was finished in a rare Muscat de Rivesaltes cask—a sweet, fortified wine from southern France. The result is a whisky that balances soft orchard and tropical fruit notes with gentle spice and a resinous oak finish. As with all Pintail releases, it is unchillfiltered, naturally coloured, and bottled at cask strength.

Nose:
Fresh peaches, nectarine, lemon zest, and mint tea.

Palate:
Mango, honey, dried apricot and sultana, with white pepper and a bright herbal lift.

Finish:
Warming cake spice, yellow stone fruits, and toasted oak with a lightly resinous fade.
